About Annabel Thomas

I have had a passion for animals since I was very young and have been involved with horses and dogs all my life.

I graduated from the Oxford College of Physical Therapy (O.C.E.P.T.) with a  Diploma in McTimoney-Corley Animal Manipulation in September 2004, and from the Witney College of Spinal Therapists (W.C.S.T.) in McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapy in January 2006. I am also training as an Animal Massage Therapist.

My knowledge and experience with horses and dogs is extensive, I started riding at the age of 5yrs, competing at local pony club and riding club, showing and breeding Welsh Mountain Section B Ponies and more recently Le Trec and Endurance Competitions. I have worked with horses for over 15 years and this led to a natural progression, caring for any performance injuries in both horse, dog and owner/rider.

I continue to expand my skills and knowledge and have attended courses in Kelly Marks Intelligent Horsemanship, Natural Hoof Balance with Peter Laidely of Hoofworks Australia & foundation saddle-fitting. I am also an advocate of Parelli Natural Horsemanship and strive to 'make my good better and my better best.'

In my 'spare' time I help run the family beef and sheep farm with my husband, including working and training my own two sheepdogs.
